Nath's gear

Like many musicians, Nath's pretty particular about his gear, mainly because he's particular about his sound.

Gear's a pretty personal thing, of course; what works for one musician may not be worth much to another.

But if you're wondering just what Nath uses when he plays out, the following list will give you an idea, from guitars and amps and mics to strings and picks and capos.

guitar		Currently, a 1999 Gibson WM-00, a now-discontinued "Working Musician" model. Nath's still figuring out just what his dream guitar would be. . . .

pickup		K&K Trinity: this pickup system is comprised of a Pure Western Mini soundboard transducer array, an internal mic, and a K&K Trinity preamp. (K&K Sound makes pickup systems for just about any type of instrument anyone might want to amplify, and they're the most natural-sounding pickups available.)
vocal mic		Audix VX-10 cardioid condenser or Audix OM-6 hypercardioid dynamic, depending on the venue
instrument mic		Audix D-2 or OM-6
amplifier		Schertler Unico, a Swiss-made 150-W amp with a 2-way speaker system and a spring reverb.
